Baby Cocoon Terms of Use

1. Who may use Baby Cocoon

You must be 18 or older. By using the app you state that you are the mother, father or legal guardian of the baby whose data you record, or that you have the authorization of someone who is.

2. The service

Baby Cocoon, operated by Epifanias Digitales LLC, lets you follow your pregnancy week by week and record your symptoms, kicks, weight, mood and contractions, and your prenatal appointments and studies, record your baby's care and share it with your family, prepare your birth plan and hospital bag, save your doctor's contacts, and generate reports for your visits that you share yourself. The service may change or be interrupted for maintenance. Data is saved on your device first and syncs when you are online.

3. Family accounts and roles

An account belongs to a family. The Owner invites other people and assigns roles: Owner, Caregiver (logs and edits care records) and Viewer (read and comment only). You are responsible for whom you invite and for keeping your account secure.

4. Subscription

Some features require an auto-renewing premium subscription, which may include a free trial. Billing, renewal and cancellation are managed by your store (App Store or Google Play); cancel in your store's subscription settings before renewal. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you record (text, photos, data). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence solely to host, sync and display that content to your family in order to operate the service. We do not use your content for advertising. Do not upload unlawful content or third-party content without permission. When you share a PDF, a text or a report link, you choose who receives it and are responsible for sending it.

6. Informational content, not medical advice

The app's health content (milestones, vaccines, charts, tips) is general information. It is not medical advice, offers no diagnosis or treatment and does not replace your pediatrician. Pregnancy content is general information. For any question about your pregnancy, consult your doctor. The kick counter and contraction timer are informational and do not replace your doctor. The day plan and intense weeks are estimates, not schedules. The 5-1-1 rule and the kick counter are informational. If you notice a warning sign, consult your doctor now. Do not rely on the app in an emergency: in an emergency call 911.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Epifanias Digitales LLC is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on informational content, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the previous 12 months.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings > Delete account, or Delete your account). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or abuse the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. For their interpretation and enforcement, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City.
